  • HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
    • Provide us all the details which we attached in your E-mail, this will be send by us in word document.
    • Make your deposit, and let us know when you have paid,  send us a confirmations attaching the document (voucher) this is the way how we know everything is good.
    • Wait until you receive a booking confirmation with all the details about the passenger, tour, and dates and make sure everything is correct.
    • You’re all set!! Keep in touch with us.

 

  • WHY DO I NEED A BRIEFING?

The briefing is really important because you will meet with your tour guide, who will provide you all the important details about your tour,  this is important to have an idea how will be this tour and what you must to bring , also you will pay your remaining tour balance.

  • WATER IN INCLUDED?

Please bring your own water for the first day of your tour, after that we will provide you water a 1 liter per person but also you will have chance to buy some water in case you need more.

  • CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGAGE AT THE VIDAL EXPEDITIONS?

Yes, but much better for you is to leave in the place where you are staying or where you will stay after your tour normally all the hotel, hostel, etc. has lockers to keep those until the day you are returning.

  • DO I NEED TO BRING EXTRA CASH OR MONEY?

Yes, this is important, normally our recommendation isto bring some Peruvian soles between 400 to 500, and probably you won’t need all this money bus just in case of emergency you should bring it. We have some extra things which you will some money (to buy water, toilets service, tip, etc.)

  • HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE IN THE GROUP?

Our group is normally between 2 as a minimum and 12 people as maximum person this is also depends of the season.

  • WHAT KIND OF BAG SHOULD I NEED TO BRING FOR THE TOUR?

You should bring a day bag pack which you will keep with you all the time, the rest of your luggage will be carry by Porters or horses.

  • HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP THE TEAM IN MY TOUR?

Tipping is your discretion, but always highly appreciates.

  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PRIVATE TOUR AND GROUP TOUR? WHY IS IT WORTH IT TO PAY MORE FOR THE PRIVATE TOUR?

If you choose to go on a private tour, the tour will be much more tailored to you. The size of the group depends of you and only you. You can decide exactly who will be on the tour with you. This is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends.

  • CAN I JOIN AS A SINGLE TRAVELER?

Yes, as long as we have a trek leaving that day. We have single travelers joining our treks all the time, you will share accommodations with someone of your same sex and if you wish to have a single room you can arrange that for an extra $30.00USD

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET ALTITUDE SICKNESS?

Our guides are trained in case you get sick. They also carry oxygen bottles with them, if you feel bad you have the option of coming back to Cusco and then going to meet up with your group in AguasCalientes or Machupicchu so you don’t miss out on Machu Picchu. This will be with extra charges however.

  • IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL WILL I BE REFUNDED?

NO, our company has a no refund policy, all the money you will deposits are non-refundable and nontransferable. We understand that unexpected things happen that out of your control but we can’t make exceptions. You can read more about our policies on our website.

  • WHY IS THERE AN 8% CHARGE FOR PAYPAL AND VISA? IS THERE ANY WAY TO AVOID THIS CHARGE?

Unfortunately, the 8% charge is completely out of our hands, this fee does not go to us, but PayPal and VISA. There is really no way around it.

  • WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS IN MACHU PICCHU?

There is no down season for Machu Picchu, so the ruins will always be crowded. They are best seen early in the morning before the huge crowds come, but there is no real way to avoid other tourist, Machu Picchu is really huge area with a lot of spots where are many stairs good running shoes or hiking shoes  are much better, If you are doing those extra hikes to Machu Picchu  or Wayna Picchu mountains you should wear hiking boots.
To make sure you should bring you original passport to go inside the ruins. Not allowed to bring big bags in the park so you can leave this in your hotel or in the storage in the gate of Machu Picchu.

We include all meals and snacks for our treks, up until the last lunch (after your tour of Machu Picchu).  For your last lunch in AguasCalientes, or for all train tours, you will choose from the many restaurants in AguasCalientes.
